I haven't really been able to drive it. Still have some things to sort out with the previous owner & DMV.

I also need to make some time to move cars around and bring it here to my Dad's.

Decided I wanted to detail the R very well so I visited heR today!

Ended up removing the optionals so I can clean under them lol.

At least I know that if for some reason I get rid of my optionals that it looks great under them.

I washed and hit it with my polisher real quick just to get an idea. I won't be detailing the caR until I bring it home.

I brought the optionals home and did my magic on those LOL.

Washed -> Clayed -> Compounded -> Polished -> Sealed -> Waxed

HELLO THERE!

Ugh! So blessed!

I still have A LOT to learn but what I've been doing recently is.

1. Wash VERY well, 2 bucket method with Chemical Guys Honeydew Shampoo.

2. Clay Bar - doesn't really matter what brand, I used Meguiars.

3. 3M Compound with a Machine Polisher I think the one I use is from Harbor Freight that my Grandpa bought.

4. Polish (w/ Machine Polisher) - Chemical Guys Wet Mirror Finish

5. Seal (w/ Machine Polisher) - Chemical Guys Jet Seal

6. Wax (w/ Machine Polisher) - Chemical Guys Butter Wet Wax

There's more stuff you can do but I'm very content with how everything has came out so far.

Looks good Mikey thanks for cleaning up the optionals for me!

What pads did you use with the polisher or did you use the same one with the different compounds?

Don't give Nathan any ideas here!

I agree but I need some stock skirts and maybe switch back and forth.

Spent half my day making heR look pretty.

Washed -> Clayed -> Compounded -> Installed Emblems -> Touched Up -> Polished -> Sealed -> Waxed

CG Honeydew Shampoo -> Meguiar's Clay Bar -> 3M Rubbing Compound -> CG Wet Mirror Finish -> CG Jet Seal -> CG Butter Wet Wax

^^ If any of you were wondering ^^

All I have left to do is remove the wheels, clean very well, touch up & install center caps.

Put the wheels back on & also wiped down my interior.

I still have a lot of parts to install when I get back from LA. Also should have the car smogged & registered after I get back.

Your wheels came out great but there's one thing I would change and that's the direction of the center cap. You should rotate them so they face away from the valve stem. This way you have 4 uniform wheels.

Back from The Dead!

It has been a long 3 months and I have some catching up to do.

On my last update I thoroughly cleaned up the wheels and installed them.

The car pretty much sits the same except I threw on my UKDM Tail Lights because I don't want them on my GS-R once I bring it back to the body shop.

I drove the caR from my Dad's house my Grandpa's to change the CMC then to my Mom's house because I'll be staying here for awhile. More and more detailing.

Pictures my Mom took while she followed

Received another pair of Spoon Socks and a Wire Cover

Here are a few shots I took of the Engine Bay with parts installed

Went to LA and on the way home I picked up an OEM CW ITR Lip from my friend Albert. It was hard to tell but the one that was on the caR was a replica.

Picture of the LIP installed

Transported the caR to my Dad's house so we can do some work to it.

Few shots infront of my Mom's house

I know a lot of people hate mixing Spoon & Mugen BUT I'm not building a show car or catalog car. I buy what I like or what.

Mugen Intake Air System

Picked up some SSR Type-C's for my GS-R.

Mounted on my GS-R

Of course I had to try them on the ITR
