Default Looking for a definite answer on JDM ITR Axles

98 spec JDM integra type R five lug ~ Driver side axle is bad..

I've read numerous threads that you can use CRV axles, but no one supplied a definite answer with a year/model.

I'm looking for something that will bolt right in without modifications.

Can anyone confirm they have did this with hands on experience?

Thank you guys

I wish I could recall the part numbers. I'm pretty sure mine are from a prelude. Direct fit.

Second link supplied is 32mm.. will not fit JDM ITR 36mm. I was just reading and found some info on google that 97 prelude sh axles will work.. direct swap, but cannot confirm.

Just out of curiosity all b-series axles are the same on the transmission side, correct?

I just had my friend that works at a local parts store compare a 97 base prelude axle to a 94-01 integra axle the driver side is close to 22 5/8 (integra 94-01) and prelude is 23 5/8.

Just use 97+ Prelude S axle shafts. They have a 32 mm inner shaft and 36mm outer shaft.

92-96 Prelude axles will NOT work as the inner hub is too big to clear the transmission bell housing.

I do not know if CRV axles will work.

I am using 97 Prelude S axles on my EK, b-series motor/transmission, JDM ITR 5-lug hubs.

However, if you are ever in need of replacing the hub bearings, you will also use 97 + Prelude hub bearings.

CRV axles will not work they are too long.

Easy fix is to use OEM RSX type-S axles they will work.
