I believe retail is around 35K + 595 dealer fee + anywhere from 2K-5K mark up. The seats are more comfortable than Type R seats and the compare to the seats of the Accord Type R I drove when I was in Europe (Thanks Marco!) On a 1-10, the car is a 12, no doubt.
Plans are minor, flash the ECU, new exhaust and see what the stock turbo can handle. It's rated at 22psi.

be careful, I heard EVO cluches are only good for about 15k or less miles!
someone on twincam has one, went out at 13k, and there are cases where they are out by 5k

you are 100% correct. Tires are a grand to replace and last about 10K

The MR is one sexy beast. Pisses me off. I bought my WRX about a month before Subaru officailly announced the STI would be comming to the U.S. and my brother bought his EVO just last year when the MR was still sort of a rumor. Glad to see that at least one MR will be owned by someone who can drive it. I guarantee the first MR I see around here will have a 16 year old behind the wheel who's parents have more money than common sense. The thought of owning an MR almost tempted me enough to sell the R a little prematurely, but I think I will hold out for the '06-'07 STI. Congrats to your bro!

marc..very nice dude!
how have you been?
heard a good first upgrade for the EVO is a stainless braided clutch line with an upgraded clutch.
congrats to your bro...
