the JDM 16's go well with the JDM front (probably because they were designed to )

To me, they look about the same.

The 16" wheels will allow you to maintain a basically stock look while putting a little more rubber on the ground, but the offset and size will not allow you to do the very best you could do with that.

If you already have the 16" wheels, put them on.

If you are having to shop for the 16" wheels, then your money is probably better spent on something else.

IMHO 15" wheels on DC2s tend to look small, I do like the 16" but waiting some more convincing, then just looks.

my main objective is daily driver, with some autox, which I think the 16" have advantage, as they 7" wide, they also have less sidewall and carry 20mm wider tire, which I think is worth the extra 10 lbs penalty as far as weight.

One thing to consider is the dearth of tyre choices in 16". There are actually more in 17" and 15".

Since you are in Ontario, I guess we should ask if you intend on using the 16" wheels in the winter.

In the Hankook Z212 R2S you can get 215-45-16, 205-45-16 and even 225-45-16. But these tyres don't do any good in the cold weather at all.

indeed in 215/45/16" I guess there is not my choice. but next time around when its time to replace these I'll go with the 205/45/16" or even 225/40/16"
winter wheels are going to be stock 15's so no issues there with tires.

USDM wheels with the jdm front-end looks ok, but not as good as the JDM wheels with the jdm front-end. i don't know if it was your preference to get the non-ITR jdm headlights, but it looks funny imho on the ITR.

USDM wheels for better gas mileage. I would get some black housing headlights first though. Do you have a clear sidemarker on one side and amber on the other?

well its all up to you what you like, but i personally like the jdm 16's whether they are on jdm front or not, but as someone stated, look for some black house ITR ones.
that'll clean up the offset of coloring int he front, looks nice,

tire choices are the biggest concern for 16's :s

16's for the street = blingalicious
15's for the track because of the inexpensiveness of tires compared to larger sizes.

I like the JDM wheels. You don't see the as much as you do the USDM ones. Plus I think they look nicer.

JDM 16"! I rocked some 15" USDM sprayed black for EXPO as I had fresh AZENIS. But I roll on the JDM 16" daily when I'm driving the R and they aren't on my EP3.

correct. the R had the black-housing lights.

JDM 16" look much better though. So you obviously have to find a set of UKDM 15" wheels to get the best of both worlds.
