a brick wall will not stop a car moving 100 mph. the car will go through it like swiss cheese. A brick walll does not have much lateral structural strength.

haha, im bored

how about a cement wall with CF mirrors....
or a sequoia tree

Well, if it's 20+ seconds like everyone says, that must mean mods GREATLY affect the 0-100mph times, because I used to run 12.8's at over 110mph all the time....and dyno'd at 240whp
Pinhead: you are correct, more torque will make a vehicle accellerate faster. It will not increase the top end though unless the car was not limited by fuel cut in top gear before..

According to Car and Driver's test in March 1997, http://www.caranddriver.com/xp/Caran...er.xml?&page=5

0-100 is 17.9

An F1 car can brake w/ far mor force over 100mph than under due to down force, they have to steadily decrease braking force as speed declines or else they will be strait-lineing the corner.

That's a little more like it...

If drag causes the ITR to go from 95 mph to 100 in 8 seconds LOL!, well I probably couldn't even brake 100 mph on the (uphill) back straight at Road Atlanta in a stock Type R. But if we come back to reality... a stock ITR is good for 120 mph there. Also FYI, I looking at the speedo from the videos I have and the *stock* ITR runs from around 45 to 120 mph in roughly 23-24 seconds on a hot day on that same uphill backstraight.

I'm not saying that 0-100 in 24 secs is a lie, heck a Z06 could run that time too. What’s stopping it from being able to? But, both cars can certainly also run *faster* than that. Maybe one of the Motortrend staffers went over and tested that Type R. I'm talking about the same staff who tested the S2000's full acceleration test by shifting at like 7000 rpm! Remember that one? lol

I dont understand people logic here.
Everyone knows a ITR will do a 14.5 1/4mile stock.
And thats at close to 100 mph. Something like 95mph.
So 5mph more cant be more than .5 seconds.

my ITR ran a 98mph trap speed stock, at 14.3. I'de say that ITRs do 0-100 in between 15 & 16 seconds. And thats really not bad at all in a road coarse, specially since they pull alot harder from a roll and have no problem hittin 120mph very quickly...Enough to give any driver an insane rush at any track.
