I need to find that sweet spot to pull it out i guess, is it near where the O2 sensor and underneath the oil filter?

I know on my old CRX it has to go out through the wheel well. Once you remove a splash guard, there is a perfect space for the alternator to pass through. Perhaps the Integra is the same...

I have not removed the alternator, so I can't give any pointers, but this might help

Good luck

I didn't even do 7 and 8, but the alternator is out of the bracket already, just have to wiggle it out and now is free.

But you have to get the alternator OUT of the CAR, it is still stuck in that area now.

Can you also post the "Adjust belt tension" procedure?

This probably won't help you, but it might be worth mentioning. I have taken the bottom alt. bracket off along with the drivers side axle on a b18c5 swapped crx to remove the alt. You may consider something along those lines.

Maybe doing 7 & 8 will provide the space to lift the alternator up and out?

I'm pretty sure it fits between the body and the manifold I was trying to think it's been a while since I did one

I heard if you take a pry bar and use it to push the engine forward, then your axle should fall out from the bottom. This is w/ stock mounts of course.

On my 87 CRX the best method was removing the brake MC and moving it to the side and you could bring it out from the top.

Just options. The first one wont hurt your engine as long as the pry bar sits properly

dont take it to the shop. finish it! You know the method now. Save the money and buy yourself some new tools instead.

You need to remove the drivers side axle and go about removing/installing it through there. It will not fit out the top. I recently went through the same thing and found out the hard way. On an EK you can squeeze it in/out the top if you remove some minor things, but I wasn't able to on my ITR.

I did it on my daily ls by removing the axle and int shaft. Took about an hour total on a lift.
