One of the guys who works at the shop here on base (Japanese guy) was asking why we were tearing it apart. I told him my plans with it and he thought it was crazy.

Correct me if I'm wrong, but the AF won't pay to have your car shipped back home unless it's US Spec. Do you just plan on keeping it till you have to PCS?

I enjoy seeing individuals get kicked out. They obviously did something that makes them unworthy to wear the uniform they raised their hand and made an oath to wear. Clearly if someone is discharged because of a lack in ability to follow orders and regulations, they do not deserve to serve their country.

The rust is just surface rust, nothing that can't be repaired with a little scrub.
No, the AF won't ship a car to/from any asian country unless its 25 years or older or on the list of non-conforming vehicles deemed eligible for importation by the NHTSA, and J-Spec ITRs are not on the list, but I have my own means of moving this car.
My plans are... secret!
Thanks, lets just say he wasnt the brightest guy. This car will get a new life.

Dr. DC2 I didn't know you were in the AF...me too!! haha...I bought the ITR in my avatar when i first arrived here way back in 09'...I slowly but surely went to the darkside though, after one of my buddies crashed it while I was tdy...oh well. It's funny how the ITR is still expensive out here compared to all the other, faster cars out here huh?!? I mean you could've picked up a R32 GTR for the price you got yours at, am I right? haha I remember paying 470,000yen for mine...and that was when the yen rate was at 93!! haha

How would you be moving it? I'm asking because I'm looking to PCS overseas aswell.

Finally, we dropped the engine and started breaking the engine down!
