I don't think anyone would really want to trade just for the colors, beside you. It is kind of hard to let go of a car you have taken care of for someone elses.

you'd probably have better luck selling your car outright, then using the $ to buy another black one. same thing as trading except you get to choose what car you buy.

Not trying to be a smart ***, but why not paint it? If it was that important to me I would. I realize its a lot of work to change the whole color but I have to agree it would be hard to trade a car you have taken car of for someone elses just for the color.

The reason nobody wants to trade is because we bought black for a reason. We all could have chosen yellow, but some of us didn't. We chose black because it is less "hot", not as noticeable. The great thing about a black R is that it is more stealthy. That is why nobody wants to trade.
Seeing how many R's get stolen each month, having a yellow R that can be seen from a mile away doesn't exactly sound like a fair trade. Just my opinion of course.

trading cars like that is the most retarded thing i've ever heard..............its not like you are trading a shirt or something trivial like that.......its a damn car.....why would you want to trade a car that you know everything about for the same car that could potentially have problems?......all that mystery just over color.....doesn't sound like an intelligent move to me

Exactly. When I was looking for my car I found about 4 or 5 yellows and not a single black. Mater of fact, I almost bought a yellow but ended up find one up in PA with only 300 miles on it.

I already have exactly the color I wanted - Phoenix Yellow. It's better looking (personal preference, of course), it is A COLOR instead of drab, it isn't a PITA to keep from looking dirty or scratched, and it doesn't get all that hot in the sun. But that's just me. I hope everyone has the color R he wants.

I waited 3 months for delivery on my FBP. The dealer called back once a month if I wanted to change my order to a yellow one since they could get that immediately. I declined.

That sums it up perfectly. I could have gotten yellow, because there were two available before they found my black one hiding in a showroom in WV.
Besides, everyone knows that the black ones are the fastest.
