Will our cars be able to fit a 38 offset 15" wheel?
Please let me know. I'm going to buy a set of Kosei K1 15 by 7's today. They are off a Toyota and the offset is 38. Will that be ok for the R or should I keep looking??? Also wondering if this offset clears the spoon calipers.

It'll stick out a "tad".
The 38mm definitely clears the Spoon calipers (BlueR). The 43?mm clears stock ITR calipers (mine).

Oops I should have searched harder. There are numerous threads on this. on myself. Sorry everyone. Delete this if need be.
So the 38 will clear the spoons and the stock calipers?
<----needs to be double sure

Yes, they will fit. Some owners have reported a slight rubbing in the rear, some have not. I'm of the opinion that it's dependent upon the tire that's being run, width, and what type of a shoulder the tire has.

I have the 38's. With the spoon's also. No problems clearing the calipers but i rub in the rear (slightly lowered). Some people have rolled their fenders as a fix.

+38 shouldn't be a problem.
I'm running 15x7.5, +40 offset wheels without any issues. Wider track = My next intended wheel is 15x8, +27.
BUT since you mentioned toyota - I thought their bolt pattern in in 5-lug is 5x100. BE CAREFUL. Itr's are 5x114.3.
