Which head is this?? Type R, B16,Gsr,????
I sent this head to customer who returned back telling me that is not what i said it is. I pulled it off the car with my own hands and i know what type of head it is unless when the machine shop rebuilt it with new valve seals they did the switcharoo which i doubt happened. post only if you are 100% positive that you know what is. thanks

It's clearly a B16 head, but do you have a picture of the intake ports?

nope....thats a d15 head, basically worthless. out of the kindness of my heart i'll take it off your hands. hows twenty bucks shipped sound?

It is an ITR head. Not sure what year.
The reason I think this is because:
1. It has the bright green paint that is on all of the ITR heads that I have bought. This is evident in the last pic on the left hand side of the head. It is painted on top of the spot that corresponds with the rear mounting post of the distributor. It's hard to describe but those who know will understand what I am saying.
2. It is most likely newer than 1996. The reason I think this is because there are only two studs for the exhaust manifold. The '96-up B-series heads only had two studs.
I may be wrong. But, I would definitely bet that it is an ITR head. The way to check is to look inside the ports to see if it has been ported from the factory.

Looks like an ITR head from the green paint by the distributor end of the head and the stamped number by where the vtec solenoid goes.

97 ITR's have PR3 heads?!!! i thought ITR heads were stamped P73

all ITR heads are stamped PR3.
Is that green paint? I took it as a jpg compression artifact.. which there's plenty of in those pics..

if you mean the "30" usually stamped on the head, that is also on the 99+ Si heads as well ... not just ITR heads.
