Some? I see tons of flaws (painting over the Type R decals, mirror joints are not painted, over spray, no clear coat, etc)...probably looks worse in person

This is a track car..that is just plain ballin'
This is an example of a theft recovery done right: https://honda-tech.com/forums/acura-integra-type-r-8/zygspeeds-r-151-new-hands-1542310/

hahahahaha@these recent posts.
I bet he's got less $ into that car than I do in mine. And it's still a blast, fun toy.
Would I do it to mine? Nope, but I'd do a solid NON-R color. This was original and awesome as hell. Looks great in person and as mentioned repeatedly, it was a theft recovery, non-titled car that could only be used in a situation like this. It was saved from the crusher.
I even picked this car up for Brad in FL. Suspension held together with mechanics wire, huge dent in the passenger side rear quarter and all. Still, for the price he picked it up for...
Oh, one last thing for the haters... check out his previous R. He does certainly know how to build one.

make sure you keep that paint in a garage or covered up, regular spray paint doesn't have any UV inhibitors,so it will fade. I would hate to see all that work start to do that, it will be fine to take to the track, this is how they used to spray paint race cars in the old day, no graphics or wraps, all done by hand with spray paint

As said multiple times in this thread, it's a track car. It cannot be driven legally on the street, and he's not going for any JDM hardparker points.
Keep whining about it though....I'm sure if you keep it up Brad will repaint it for you.

Oh the paint looks like total ****, there's no doubt about that. If this were a race car then more attention would be put in the appearance. This is a weekend HPDE car, which is a very big difference. The car was built in the cheap, so was the paint. The fact that is a stock motor, shitty paint, zip ties holding half the crap together, just adds salt to all of the BMW's, Porsche's, and Corvette's when this POS bucket is rolling them. Wait a minute, it actually needs to see track time for that to happen.

I'm just surprised everyone is still making this a big deal. Another R was saved from the crusher, that's all that matters. And it gets tracked too boot. Better than a show caR just sitting in a garage.
And to go along with Dave, pretty sure this was his old R

Yep, that's my old one too.
And the new ride if this is considered a nice car.

This is definitely one of the coolest ideas ever and it looks amazing. I just can't understand why people would hate on it because I hope one day I can say that I saw this R in person. Just one of a kind.

For all the haters in this thread, you would probably go to a 24 hours of lemons race and bitch about the paint jobs, it's a track car for beating on, I think it looks cool as **** if you ask me, it's a creative way to paint a car that actually SEES the track, and in the process it was saved from becoming beer cans, whats the issue?

Holy thread revival batman. I love how the same silly comments are still being posted.
I'm more embarressed by the Scale boxes.
LOL Neal could comment on the last part..
Attend an ITR Expo and hopefully Brad will bring it out. It's seriously a bucket though, so give you a beer to help you recover. I can say all of this, because my car is an even worse bucket.
