underneath the car is completely clean, you would think at least the tires would be a little dirty.plus the car seems to be in a different position in each pic.not to mention,no sign of a trail where the car drove through the leaves, and branches.

Your avitar sums up the explanation for running off the road.
I call BS on this! The two photos don't even have any relation as far as placement.

Re: Funny DC5R pic i found. (itr206)
definately fake.
The first picture has the rear passanger side wheel leaning downward which obviously doesnt become visible if you were to look at the passanger side view of the car. But the second picture has a full view of the passanger side at a distance. That doesnt add up right.

Seriously, theres no debre(sp) what so ever left over from the car, no scratches on it or anything.

Re: Funny DC5R pic i found.
LOL, I was searching around the net and I found this thread :D
Sorry to necro, but for anyone who's lost sleep over these pics and still a skeptic, it's real - 100% real.
Should I post a couple more for old time's sake? :D
I am also totally surprised I had an account on this forum too lulz.

oh ****, that's where I left my car?? I gotta quit drinking!!
But someone said in the first pic the right rear wheel is to too low to pretty much see in the second pic....but if you look closely it looks ike there's like another dip sorta that seems like it would be enough to see the wheel

Re: Funny DC5R pic i found.
Honestly, I was doing 50km/h, there was another guy in a car in front of me (some family sedan).
The ABS in the DC5R was always outta control on uneven ground/stones and thats pretty much what got me. Take a look at the photos of the road, look for skidmarks? Not one anywhere. The airbags didn't go off (which requires high speed) and I completely cut a tree down that was about 750mm thick at the trunk. You can see where I hit the tree in that impact bar that runs between the two chassis rails in the Panel Beater Photos.
I walked away with a scratch and a bruise and never ever felt like I was in major danger in the cockpit going down that cliff. A personal friend, the panel beater confirmed for me that the chassis was in fact in absolutely straight order (tested with lasers or some ****) and could have been repaired no issue, but said given the ITR had been out for 9months at the time it would have taken another 9 months to get all the parts.
For reference sake, to get an idea how steep it is look at the photo with the tow truck driver tilt your head until you can see the trees vertically. I climbed up it when I was full of adrenalin in the dark, without aid (until the very top) but anyone who went down to the car had to be hauled up with ropes.
It was a mad accident, almost a freak and I ended up with a brand new car afterwards so I don't have much to complain about :D. The 2nd one was faster anyway

Re: Funny DC5R pic i found.
what was your second car? taking downhill turns like the one in the pic at even more than 5mph over suggested speed is bad, provided you were going downhill to begin with. i dont think you wouldve lost control at 50km/h if it was uphill.
