Fixed my tranny today... hell yeah.
As you all may know my motor was replaced and when i got it back from the dealer, the tranny linkage was sloppy as a 5 dollar *****. Turns out the 3 bolts that hold the gear change holder assembly to the case (see pics below). Tighten them up, put the case back on and she is good to go Here are some pictures.

My GSR transmission weighed about 95 lbs in a box filled with styrofoam padding. Thanks for the look at your transmission innards AssPenny, I'm currently rebuilding my GSR and you've given me an image to look forward to!

FD was already in there...just had to fix the slack in the shifter, which was due to the loose bolts....
We did, however, swap out his fly, clutch and JDM header/cat today too...

Great pics. If you have some time can you point some things out on some of those pictures? Like the main shaft and the counter shaft, each gear, including reverse, the final drive, the shifter forks, the dog gears and syncros, and anything else I forgot. Oh, and what is the small, straight-cut gear sitting by itself on its own little shaft? Is that part of reverse?
Thanks,
-Floyd, who is learning a lot about transmissions from these pics.
