Finally... #1235 must go.
I have been toying with the idea of selling the R.
I didnt know if I really wanted to sell it.... but after a year of thinking...
its up on Ebay. Will I regret this move?

Although I greatly miss my caR, she was my daily driver and I skipped many events being paranoid about leaving it anywhere unattended... After having it for 8 years some f'ing scumbags tried to steal her in bright daylight, right outside my place of work. I caught them before any damage was done, but then put it up for sale knowing I couldn't drive it to work anymore. Now I don't think twice about where I drive or park, and regret not selling it sooner... It was fun, but past time for me to move on.
Good luck, what would you replace it with!?

^ Ditto. Although I didn't DD mine, it just sat in the garage most of the time. Everytime I did take it out to an event or something, I ended up having to replace something. I miss it, but I moved on.

I could never see myself getting rid of my ITR. I daily drive it right now because of financial reasons, but plan on getting another car to daily in the near future. Do what you feel is best, I'm sure you'll regret it at times, it's a great car, and nobody ever really gets rid of an R because they don't like the car itself, just the common problems we face owning one, and priorities.

I agree with everyone saying to hang on to it or you'll regret it. BUT . . . it's rough times for everyone, and sometimes you gotta do what you gotta do. If you have to change your lifestyle dramatically in order to keep it, then start thinking seriously about selling. If you are thinking about selling it just to get rid of it . . . you WILL regret it. I guess the questions to ask yourself are: How will selling it benefit me? Do I get enjoyment out of owning it, or is it becoming just a burden? Will I ever want an R again? Is there something else in mind that I want that makes it worth selling the R?

Re: Finally... #1235 must go.
I have a DD, and its a 01 Crv 5 speed "awd". and i dont expect on replacing it with anything... i bought a CBR early this year, and havent pulled the R out once this summer...
I never wanted to leave it out, or park it on the street. I just dont fell the same way about the car as i used too. Its more like a table in the garage now.
I did spend a pretty penny on the car, and have had it since it had 7 miles on the OD.
i love the look but dont need the worries of asswipes stalking my car when its out... sick of the extra driving around before i get home, to make sure no one is following me(again).

It can be pretty stressful at times. I don't daily my R, we have 2 other cars we use on a daily basis but even sitting in the garage can make you nervous. When you do take it out, you get followed. Depending on the area you live in, it makes you wonder if it's worth it sometimes.
