I had a Fiber Images CF hood on my EK. I must say it was awesome quality. Fitment was awesome and the weave was great. Just have to find who distributes for them, but they are still around!

I still remember their videos on their site sutting it over and dropping tires on it etc to show how durable it was.

A local here has one on his JDM front. He freaked me out everytime he banged on it. I got burned on the quality of my ViS so I'v never really considered getting another. However, I always said if I ever bought another CF hood it would be a Fiber Images.

I had one on my EK as well. I contacted them in 03 about some quality issues with it. In their email reply I was informed that they where being "bought out" by an overseas supplier and would no longer offer any support to the US market beyond that point. Here's their site. http://www.fiberimages.com/main.html
Notice how none of their products go beyond 2004. Where can you find new Fiber Images stuff at?

I too have a Fiber Images hood, 6 years old now and still looks awesome. Good Fitment. Very light compared to VIS crap.

The latch on my EK Fiber image hood looks pretty flimsy.

For those of you who owned Fiber image hoods, were hood pins recommended from the manufacturer? Did you use them?

Hoodpins are a general recommendation for any CF hood. They are always labeled "Off-road use only," for that reason.
