expo, died tranny, acura, and thieves
The last week for 163 has been hell. I am too lazy to type the whole story in detail so here is the cliff note version.
Expo: Tranny died. Two dealers declined to work on the car because it was modified. The only thing I have for my car is a header and intake. One dealer saw the car in person and the other dealer has never even seen my car. My car sat for a couple days in a impound yard.
Pick-up: Me and my dad rented a trailer drove 8 hours total and picked up the 163. It took about hour and half to get the car onto the trailer because the winch was broken. On the way home we ran out of gas. We finally got home around 430 Saturday morning. The owner of the towing company were my car was kept was an ***.
Drop-off: We dropped the car of at the dealers on Saturday afternoon. The dealer was closed for the weekend so we parked the car behind a wall; there was no way anyone could have known it was there. I had no choice, my dad was heading up to Canada for a few days and it was the only time we had to bring the car in.
Call from the dealers: I got a call today from them, saying they couldn’t find my car. So I called the police, it was stolen and recovered. The thieves never even made it out of the dealer’s lot. There is some damage to both door handles, the front lip (I think they tried to tow it away), the whole front bumper is misaligned, and the steering column is pretty fugged up. The car will never bee the same.
As of right now I am waiting for the insurance company to look it. Yes it was very very dumb of me to leave it at the dealers all alone, so please don’t flame. I am kicking my own *** for it.

. sorry to hear that. my first car met the same fate yours did at a dealer, except they got it out of the lot and took the wheels and stereo. nice meeting you at expo btw thoughBrian

Oh dude that sucks! Sorry to hear your misfortune.
Insurance will make it all better
My 91 was broke into at the dealers and I got a whole new stereo system, amp, etc.

Now I feel bad for giving you chit about the Leafs at the Expo
My insurance company just called, there towing the car to the dealer today.
I am not worried, it all can be fixed. Just sucks, cause I miss driving my car.
