DC5 Brembos on DC2 ITR?
i know this has been brought up before but nobody ever actually gets a real answer. has anyone installed dc5 itr brembo brakes on a dc2 itr? if so what was needed for the swap? i am not looking for your expert opinion stating "the stock ITR brakes are good enough" or "spoon/mugen brakes are better." my question is has it been done and how? thanks guys

Re: DC5 Brembos on DC2 ITR?
Check my build thread... I have spoon monoblocks[these were made for dc5/tsx/s2k/ep3] on my itr. Exactly the same procedure and parts, you'll just use dc5 calipers, but beware you can't run 15" wheels anymore. Hope this helps.

The DC5 and DC5R knuckles and rotors differ. The DC5R knuckles backset the caliper mounting position by about 10mm to provide greater clearance for the outboard pistons.
OP, this has been done. Yhe DC5R calipers are directional, which is unfortunately opposite of what you need (bleeders will point down). Those calipers and S2000 rotors may work on the DC2 with the 5-lug. Your choice of wheels is going to be limited by the outboard caliper clearance.

there was a kit you could buy from europe or something like that but it was never popular. Its not a easy swap and then you need crazy wheels to clear. Your much better of with spoon calipers.
