CTR .25 Overbore pistons in b16a2?
Someone is selling a short block with these pistons installed in a b16a2. Someone told me that it would be close to 1.8 liters. Does someone know exactly what compression it would yield with a b16 head, and also the amount of liters the engine will be? Thanks guys.

it would still be 1.6 liters. compression would be the same as a b16b. 11.4:1, if my memory serves me right.

i know i have seen 10.8:1 before, but i believe that is wrong. the jdm itr is 11:1 and the ctr compression ratio is suppossed to be higher than that. at least that is what i was told. as i said before i might be wrong. i know the block is 1.6 liters though.

Alright, so it doesn't raise the compression too much. I guess it would be nice to get some CTR cams in there too. What would raise it in the 11:1 range. Also I knew it would not be that simple to raise the amount of liters the engine would be. If it was that simple then people would be doing it more often and not buying those expensive stroker kits.

don't waste your time with a 1.6 block. no torque.
oh, and assuming the head is not milled, block is not decked, and headgasket thickness is stock, your compression will be 11.19:1
displacement is a paltry 1605cc. uhh... now THAT'S a torque monster.
