i have had this car for almost 4 yrs, taken it to ITR Expo 7 at VIR (Virginia International Raceway) have gone to alot of IFO carshows, have won multiple trophies with this car. What I have is a 2000 Phoenix Yellow integra type-r. I am the fifth owner. I have the contact information of the original owner and the third and fourth owner. I have owned this car since September 11th 2008, and have taken damn good care of it. There are many people on this board who will vouch for the condition of this car. I will do my best to disclose any and all information I have on this car. Car still has original arm rest with badge number. :thup:

History:

Car was purchased brand new in West Palm Beach Florida on May 28th 2000. I still have the original window sticker and registration information from the sale. He owned the car until April 2005. I don't have any information on the second owner. The car was then sold to Shawn Welinus here in Virgina beach in June 2005. He owned the car until August 2008 and sold it to my friend Ryan. He promptly got a speeding ticket or two and sold it to me 20 days later.

Sometime during Shawn or the second owners ownership the engine was rebuilt. The car was also supercharged with a basic JRSC kit and tuned on Hondata. Two weeks into my ownership I heard some slight noises that sounded like detonation. No sooner had I asked a friend to diagnose it it locked up, blown again I then rebuilt the motor and sold off the supercharger. The car is now essentially stock and I daily drive the car to and from Williamsburg. It has gone through a few cosmetic changes(wheels etc..) over the years which I have documented in pictures. The only other point worth noting is that it was involved in an accident on 5/8/2006. According to the carfax hit a curb/ledge on the drivers side. I checked it out when I purchased it and the repair work was top notch. The paint on the car looks brand new. It still has all original, vin matching body panels. :thup:

The car is now basically stock beside the oem jdm pistons. It put down 181 with a hyetech knock off header and spoon exhuast, neither of which on still on the car. The tune is fairly rich/safe/conservitive as it only averages 320 miles per tank where as a typical type-r will get closer to 360+. Still, 30 mpg on 180 whp ain't bad at all.

The bad:

Input shaft bearing is getting a little noisy, tends to be a common problem on b-series cars, does not affect performance at all. Few rock chips on the front bumper. One wheel had a rotor lock up issue on a different car and has some permanent rotor dust caked on. Motor mounts are worn, will be replaced soonish. Rear bumper gets a little black from the tune being so damned rich. There is some condensation in the taillights and a little in the drivers headlight from the snow melting on it. It just needs to be dried out. There is also a small spot by the driver's taillight where some of the original seal between the two panels wasn't put back by the body shop, I added some silicone sealant there to keep the water out. It can only be seen with the hatch up and just needs some touch up paint to hide. Floor mats are a little beat up, I drive the car every day.

I'm moving so I need to sell my 1998 ITR with 116,xxx miles. I am the third owner (purchased in 2005) and it is BONE STOCK!

It has never had any sort of aftermarket upgrade whatsoever. The only non-factory items on my car is a spoon shift **** (stock one was tore up), and the door tweeters which were replaced by the previous owner.

I replaced the timing belt/water pump at 100k miles and performed regular maintenance at recommended intervals (cap/rotor/plugs). The car runs great and never had any problems (It's a honda!). Please message me if you have any questions or want extra pictures.

Clean title and Title in hand. I'm asking 12k obo.

Alright, so the deal with this car is that it was previously a northern car, I picked it up as a second car in November to drive while I was restoring the 98. I've put 7k miles on it and she drives better than any ITR I've owned.

The downfall is that there is a little surface rust in a few spots, I've showed this to both of my trusted auto body guys and they said it would be no problem to correct and it has 108k and hasn't been cracked open so PM work is going to be due at some point, it definitely does burn oil but nothing I'd consider out of the normal ITR threshold.

The only mods are a "mod express" 4300k HID kit (which I actually like a lot) from the original owner and I had an alarm installed (will disclose details to potential buyers) by Alan (VegaS10) who is definitely one of the highly reputable Honda alarm installers on the east coast, which is one of my personal friends so don't worry about shoddy craftsmanship.

Here is my current crossroad, I can either pump money into paint/body and bottom end refresher and I'll still end up selling down the road or I could just take a stab now before all of that money is dumped into it. Either way I don't mind, I enjoy daily driving this ITR but at this point I figured it can't hurt to throw out there. But the end goal is to have a truck, I didn't want to take the dive last November because I just kicked a staggering amount of funds into rebuilding the 98.

Unfortunately I've never taken may pictures of her, so this will have to suffice for now (it's the black one )
