This Type R has a clean title and a history free of any accidents, incidents, or other red flags. It is absolutely 100% bone stock with zero aftermarket modifications. It has its original B18C5 engine & J4D transmission, both with VINs matching that of the chassis. All body panels are original with matching VIN stickers. It has never been owned in any northern or coastal regions, and it is free of any rust or corrosion. Given its overal condition, originality, and low miles, this is truly a textbook example of a Type R, and is likely one of the finest examples currently on the market.

It runs great and is free of any mechanical issues. The motor pulls strong, VTEC engages properly, the transmission shifts smoothly- even at high RPMs, and the clutch is literally brand new. All brand new 195/55/15 BFGoodrich g-Force Sports with less than 50 miles on them. Clean wheels with no bends, gouges, or flaking. Nice original paint and damage-free body. Extremely clean interior with no stains, tears, or odors. Seats are in fantastic shape and are free of any tears, burns, and excessive bolster wear. Carpets, dash, and paneling are like new. 2001 Acura Integra Type R For Sale in the metro MD/DC/VA Area.

This is my daily vehicle and it runs and drives perfectly. All service maintenance is up to date.

The Engine and chassis has 144,486 miles

Cluster reads 106,407 miles & going up.

The cluster was replaced through dealer warranty at 38,079 miles and this is documented with a sticker that the dealer placed on the drivers side door jam.

I do NOT have the rear seats. Everything else is pretty much stock in the interior besides Momo Leather w/ Red Stitch Detachable Steering wheel & Sony Bluetooth CD/MP3 Player.

One owner 1998 Integra type-r #21. 165k miles. Located in Massachusetts. It’s time for someone else to enjoy this remarkable car as much as I have. Incredibly reliable – never broke down on me – not once in 14 years.

- I have window sticker, owner’s manuals, promo materials, etc…
- Original owner. Bought the car new. Daily driver.
- Always in heated garage.
- Non-smoker.
- The car is armrest #21 (blackjack!).
- Includes AC option which works great.
- All repairs done by Sunnyside Acura of Nashua (except for a very few small things I did). They have all records back to about 40K miles when they changed computers.
- Huge overhaul around 100k miles, including replacing all shocks/springs/bushings/motor-mounts plus complete going-over.
- Totally stock, except for Comptech intake (which was purchased through Acura), and stereo system. I have the original intake, but I bet you’ll like the sound of the Comptech. I also have the original radio if you want a really horrible radio. 
- Just got front skin/bumper re-sprayed (just had typical dots from pebbles etc…) and rear bumper skin replaced (due to minor rear-end – nothing structural nor structurally significant).
- Original wheels overhauled and re-sprayed maybe 15K miles ago.
- No major accidents. Bodywork is in great shape, except for very small ding in rear-left corner. No door dings.
- Motor is SUPER strong. Always has been. You could drive in 2nd and 5th all day long without even using the other gears.
- I’m extremely easy on the car – I take pride in smooth driving, so the clutch is great for example.
- Never tracked, raced, or riced.
- Burns maybe 1-2 qts per 3k between oil-changes.
- I have a brand-new spare set of type-r mats (not the originals, but aftermarket good looking)
- The header on the engine is in almost-new condition, since for the first 10 years or so, it had a Comptech header on it, so the original header just sat in my basement.
- I’ll include a full set of aluminum wheels, with Blizzak LM-25 snow-tires (see pics).
- I’ll include the original service manual.
What you might not like:
- As a new England daily driver, it has normal integra rust. Everyone tells me better than normal. See the pics for that.
- Interior wear is “normal” for its age, although it is very clean – top of rear seats are a bit faded.

Ive rebuilt the power steering pump twice but its still leaking. thinking about buying another one
Ive replaced the rear main seal and clutch about 2k ago
replaced front sway bar bushings, endlinks and bushings with OEM ITR ones
Ive replaced both front wheel bearings and one hub within the last 2k miles
I have 100% of the interior its just not in the car.

Well I've come to the point were I impulse bought the crap out of the 97 I picked up. I would eventually get it fixed and put back together. The problem is I've got too many other projects that need to get done before this will even get touched. Currently the car is sitting on rollers with the car completely ripped apart. That could be a plus or a minus for the buyer. I ripped the car down to nothing because the car had been sitting in a field for I don't know how long. I even found a mouse living in it. I removed the JDM front clip(or what was left of it) and started piecing a US front for it. I bought a set of used OEM fenders ($100) and a used radiator support($100). I never installed the rad support because I wanted to have a body shop install it correctly. The car is currently sitting on Tein Basic Coilovers(non ITR) and has Omni? rear LCA's.
