Can you unwarp a brake rotor?
Yes it sounds stupid but Im really curious about this...
I went to VIR at the end of Feb and warped my rotors pretty good I havent had them changed since, but they arent warped anymore. No more shimmy or vibration. I have the Endless CCX pads on there.
It is possible that the daily driving and light braking of the car since the end of Feb have smoothed out the rotors due to the abrasive nature of my pads?
Ive had a couple people drive the car after I got back from VIR and then just last week my friends dad drove it and said it felt much better with the new rotors.
Thought?

Re: Can you unwarp a brake rotor? (Megatron)
when i warped my 1st set it was only appearant at speeds over 90, so i felt it on the track or occasionally the freeway if i hit 90 and then hit the brakes (which i'd do just to test the rotors) but not with normal street driving. maybe same scenario for you?

That article was spectacular!
I bedded my stock brake pads again and it fixed my vibration. I did 5 or 6 60-5 stops and 2 100-5 stops. However after I let my car sit in the garage over night and cool off, my brakes now seem to grab less. There is stil alot of pad left (1/3). I immediently felt that I had to push the pedal down more than usual to achieve the same braking force as Im used to.
Does it sound like the bedding was done incorrectly? Or did I just wear out my pads?
