Default Brembo Pads and ?? rotors

Sorry for another brake pad and rotor thread, but Ive searched and didnt find the info that I am looking for.

Anyways, I am looking for replacement FRONT pads for my Cobalt GT sports (older version), I wanted to order another set and found out that they have a new compound and are not recommended for street use anymore. I have emailed Cobalt on what is the replacement pad now, but they have not responded.

I have read that the Hawks HP plus and Ferodo 2500 are somewhat similar (but not) to the old GT sports and was searching on where they have the best prices on them. That is when I found these Brembo pads on tirerack and was wondering if anyone has any experience on these pads:

The pads will be used mainly on the streets with a few track days here and there, although its been over a year since my last track day due to my finances. I am determined to get out to a track day when I get some new pads and rotors.

I remember back when rotors were $24.99 at Autozone, now they are $39.99. Where is everyone else getting the cheap rotors from now? While doing internet search it seems that the Brembo blanks from tirerack may be the best bet (even when factoring the shipping cost, compared to tax I have to pay at Autozone its still the better option)

Also saw these ATE slotted rotors and wondering if anyone has any experience with them. Its about double the cost of the brembo blanks:

I might have a new hook up for rotors... but won't know until Friday.
Yes I'll share with everyone when I have 100% confirmed info.
But to tease a little... Less then $100 for all four, sounds good?

I loved the old GT Sports, and I'm using the HP+. Best prices? See these two topics:

Hawk HP+ Where's the cheapest place to buy them?

I don't have any experience with the Brembo blanks. I've been very happy with the Autozone Duralast ones, and I'd probably just get more of those when I need them.

Besides the dusting, How did they perform?

I think from the threads that I read that the Hawk HP Plus also has a lot of dust.
