Default Best Header with 2.25 collector

I was looking at a JDM ITR 4-1 but its a 2.5 inch collector.. I'm lost now on what to get.. and dont have much time to research.. any guidance towards what I need to research would be appreciated...

I dont have the money to buy a cat right now.. 2.25 collector.. is what I'm looking for...

What is wrong with a 2.5 inch collector? Just get a new cat

The comptech header is a decent header that will bolt onto the stock cat.

You arent going to find any decent headers under 300 dollars. Save up and wait to buy a 2.5" header and 2.5" cat, it will be well worth the wait.

All the usdm headers that bolt up to the stock cat have 2" collectors. I don't think there is an off the shelf 2.25" collector header for the B series.

I would go with a greddy 4-2-1 header.
On my old 98 gsr I made 163 whp with just i/h/e and cam gears.
Aem intake, Greddy header/exhuast.

I think yer gonna kick yourself in the *** if you get a 2 or 2.25" header. If you plan to do anything else to the car in the future youll be wasting your money. Save your money and get something 2.5" and get a new cat.

Since you're in a hurry, and don't have any money, my advice is to just get a stock header for next to nothing. This will get you back on the road and you won't have wasted several hundred dollars on something else of questionable quality.

If you want to get something more performance oriented in the future you'll have time to save up and get something decent.

So the header is 2'' and the rest of the exhaust is 2.25''? That doesnt make too much sense does it? I wonder why honda did that.

2.25 just isnt worth it imo, save the time and money so you dont have to do it all over again get a JDM 4-1 used in the classified sections.

But if you really want a 2.25 I have a used DC 4-1 in my garage

There is nothing wrong with a 2.25" collector unless the eventual plan is to get crazy cams etc.

I have a Comptech TIG welded header for $280 shipped if you need one.
