All quotes from Brandon
I have a set of the H&R springs, but I have the springs that are the .5 inch drop....i think they are called the "stock" springs....As you already said before, the stock R suspension is pretty damn good to begin with and if you are worried about clearance, these springs not only improve handling and looks, but will actually get you over bumps without rubbing. I have a little less than 2 fingers between the top of my tire and my fender if you were wondering about the aesthetics or the clearance....
Mainly because...uhh....i like having yellow light at night in areas that require my brights as I feel it illuminates better than hyper whites or stock brights. Secondly, it looks nice...so "JDM" as it were cause they get the nice yellow fogs in their headlight assembly.
The ideal way to put them in is to relieve the tension on the mounts like they suggest...put a block of wood under the oil pan and jack up the oil pan....yeah you have to take the bolts out of the mounts to put the inserts in. The front two mounts are pretty easily gotten to, but the rear mount is a bitch. Takes a little while. Lastly, there really isnt any excessive rattle at idle, you will feel a bit more feedback through the steering wheel, the pedals, and the dash vibrates a bit when its ...
yeah, im not really a huge fan of the lip either, but the person who had the car before me had both lips, so i just switch back and forth everynow and then.

Yeah I use Chevron here, but besides Shell thats about the only good gas we have. I'm curious if the majority of you had to pick though, which one would you choose...Chevron 91 or Shell 91 (91 octane is as high as it gets here, besides 101 or vp race gas for like 5.00 a gallon!!)
I'm interested in the Skunk2 ecu harness...please PM me with what youre looking for on price
Ok, now as I understand it, the Type R does NOT have an egr(exhaust gas recirculation) valve on it correct? So how is it possible to get CEL code 12 which is a problem with the EGR valve? Has anyone ever encountered something like this before, and if so what was the root of the problem? I already did a search, but came up with no answers to my actual question. Thanks in advance...
Yeah the RSX has 5 more hp and more torque, but having driven both and actually having owned (and still owning a 00 Type R) 2 Type R's, the choice is quite obvious. Like previously stated if you don't know or don't feel it, then it's certainly NOT for you. Enjoy the Type S and have me rip you at the drag strip and through the twisties even though the Type S's body is supposed to be more stiff then my "outdated" DC2....haha.....outdated...somebody step to the Type R....

Short details: 2000 Type R #1117. Flaminco Black Pearl, 602XX miles, adult driven, nice list of mods and extra/stock parts that will come with the vehicle. This car has not been abused. I have records to back up work done on the vehicle and oil change history. Vin# JH4DC2311YS004100
