Re: AEM V2 CAI intake? (ActiveAero)
AEM is proud to introduce its Version2 (V2) Cold Air Induction System for popular sport compact car applications! The AEM V2 incorporates a revolutionary breakthrough in inlet system design that utilizes a dual chamber (using two different diameters and lengths of piping). This design creates multiple frequency sound waves that help charge the cylinders with more air throughout the entire rpm range. Because more air is able to enter the cylinder chambers, the AEM V2 is able to create more horsepower and torque-across the entire rpm range-than any other air induction system. The AEM V2 even outperforms the original AEM Cold Air!
The AEM V2 is manufactured from 6061 mandrel-bent aluminum piping and features a unique, high-gloss titanium powdercoating that reduces heat soak and enhances looks. Every AEM Air Induction System includes a proprietary one-piece, four-layer cotton-gauze air filter for superior filtration and comes with a complete hardware kit and comprehensive installation instructions for trouble-free installation. Every AEM Cold Air system is manufactured and assembled in the U.S.A., and is either C.A.R.B. exempt or pending C.A.R.B. exemption (50-state legal). The AEM V2 is Patent Pending.

Looks like that chamber is much bigger then the ones they sell now. Most of us are having clearence issues with the AEM either rubbing against or sitting on something, wonder how it will be with a much bigger pipe

Re: AEM V2 CAI intake? (The Honda Civic Si)
Definitely looks interesting. I spent a while being paranoid with that filter on a stick when I had it on my GSR, so unless there is a dyno plot in the future that can really sway my decision, I'll be sticking with the icebox.
Edit:
Arno is right, I had to put some thermal wrap over my ac lines to prevent the intake rubbing a hole in them. With the intake being larger now, I dont see how the fitment could get any better.

Re: AEM V2 CAI intake? (SANBST)
Basically a J's Racing copy-cat version, except it sits away from the engine.
Probebaly a good idea.

Anyhoo... That aem is fuggin' HUGE. How the hell will it fit?? My aem barely had any clearance down where it bent into the fenderwell. The tubing looks much bigger in this 'chamber'. I just wonder how it would fit, unless it sits a little bit more to the right, meaning that it would be in the way of the a/c lines. *sigh*
