Can that be any worse than the current British Civics?

Re: (fUkMa)
"The Si design team has spent considerable time tuning the intake and exhaust system for the K20Z3, and the results have paid off, big time. Whether you're standing trackside and hear the car screaming down the front straight at 100mph or if you're fortunate enough to find yourself behind the wheel, words cannot adequately decribe the amazing sound of this new engine. It will be interesting to see how many owners will feel like the car needs an aftermarket intake or exhaust - improving the sound will be a monstrous challenge for the aftermarket. "
Sounds impressive from Vtec.net 1st Drive Impression.

Re: (machgo5go)
If the new Si weighs just less than 2900lbs and had a 197hp(after new hp measurement guidelines) wouldn't that make it almost as fast as our Rs? It would be like an R, only brand new and weird looking.

Type r is lighter than 2900lbs....I think they chopped up a bunch of honda cars to make this one. Its not bad, I guess it has to grow on me....needs new rims and a drop. I just wish the EM1's brought those seats

i think cosmetically it isn't the most appealing, but then again I thought the same thing when I first saw the EK's and they grew on me eventually, as well as the current EP. Performance wise, it is what we have all been asking honda for... it actually has some decent performance. I wouldn't mind picking one up as a daily driver

It's a little worse than the EP3. At least w/the EP3 you can get to the spark plugs.
