<TABLE WIDTH="90%" CELLSPACING=0 CELLPADDING=0 ALIGN=CENTER><TR><TD>Quote, originally posted by ninor &raquo;</TD></TR><TR><TD CLASS="quote">I was thinking of coming over when this thread was started, but I was not aware that this is such R only event...

I do not have type R so it would appear that I am not welcome.

On the other note, I was involved in a few meets and attendance was never as expected. We had more then 100 ppl register and 60 show up, so I do find it strange that you are turning people away if you needed x number to be there.

Anyway, weather should be nice and I hope you have a good meet...</TD></TR></TABLE>

I'm not turning people away, I'm just giving the priority spots to fellow R owners, and if we don't get the exact numbers than I extend the invitation for them to bring a friend, spouce, gf/bf, ect. So that I'm not paying for food out of my own pocket, that will just go to waste. Whether the friend brings their own car or not, whatever it may be, it is still strictly an ITR meet. Just the same as if it was an S2000 meet, the meet is for S2000s.

I know it was a risk on my part to front money for people that I've never met before, and for this there is a certain criteria that has to be met. It was just my opinion that due to the normal concerns with meets in the city, I'd do my part for the H-T ITR community to provide them with a safe and elegant place to get to know one another and build friendships with fellow Type R owners new, and old. I apologise if I offend any other Integra owners with this being an ITR meet only, but it was the opinion of myself and contributing ITR owners who gave input to keep this meet focused on the ITR specifically. I also believed that if I was to openly extend the invitation to all Integras, that the response would be much larger, and I would have to front more money for such persons to attend as well. The organization of this meet was a called-in personal favour from my contacts at hockley (I used to be an employee), and this was the only reason that this venue was a possibility for us. The restrictions were that it had to be kept small, and I would have to pre-pay food orders for a minimum of 20 persons which in return, we were granted reserved parking in the main lot. I must do my part to stay within those boundaries so that this venue might be available for us on an annual basis.

Now having said that, there is nothing stopping anyone from coming to Hockley to come check it out.

And yes, the weather is looking to be quite good for the weekend! Thank you

it seems kinda lame to sign yourself up for an ITR owners meet when you a) have a rs and b) the people participating in his event have requested it to be an itr only meet.

but anyways, i hope you ITR owners have a good meet and take some cool pics for the rest of us unpRivledged people.</TD></TR></TABLE>

For all you non-ITR owners, this is in the ITR forum for an ITR only meet planned by and for type R owners. Where is the confusion ? ? ? Go click on the integra forum and start up another meet. Enough said.

Typical elitist attitude.

Some of us arent planning on attending, so dont get your ******* panties in a bunch.

Besides, who wants to go to a meet with people having that kind of attitude?

hey man, nowhere did i say i was attending nor wanted to attend. not trying to pick on anyone but it was you guys who put your foot in your mouth saying it was a strictley Type R meet with a non ITR on your attending list. also, it may be a Type R forum, but it's also a Integra forum where people can research on what advantages the type R has, and what they can do to their car to compensate the lack of performance. once again, hope you guys have a good meet, hockley vally is a very nice place to have a meet and i can't wait to see doug's pics

I'm not trying to be an *******. I will clarify. If this was an S2000 meet would I bring my ITR?...no. I'm just sayin it is what it is. No where did I say I'm better because I own an ITR, I'm not an elitist. The fake Rs was not my call btw. It is simply a type R meet so that is what should be there. As previously mentioned there are limited spots.

The fake or non R's attending are friends of people with R's whom are attending. Got it???

And you know what? ... skrew this ... I'm turning this into an 84 accord meet. But they all have to be brown ..... we don't want to attract any more attention then we would already.

lol.
