"Tech Inspection:
Participants are required to have their vehicles inspected by a qualified mechanic prior to
the Event, and to bring the completed tech inspection form to registration. ITRCA, LLC
may conduct a cursory inspection of Participant’s vehicle prior to or during the event,
however, in doing so ITRCA, LLC does not make any representations as to the safety or
mechanical condition of the vehicle. The responsibility of ensuring that the vehicle is safe
and in proper mechanical condition to participate in the Event falls exclusively upon the
Participant and his or her mechanic."
So I have to have a mechanic look over my car and check off a list before the event? Are they not doing that at the event?\
Also will factory brakes (pads, rotors, lines, fluid, ect) be fine?

i'd flush the fluid if you havent done that in the last year..
and maybe grab an extra set of brake pads. i personally prefer the cheapest semi-mettallic i can find for a backup/rain day set of pads. whatever you do, dont use the "ceramic" pads. NO bite.

Like "redzc" said, factory brake pads are not a good choice for the track. Your brake fluid should be fresh, and the other items you mentioned should be in good shape along with the rest of your car.

Some participants are pretty solid shade-tree mechanics, and are comfortable looking at their cars and determining whether they will be safe on track. Other participants aren't so mechanically inclined, and need the help of trained mechanic. We don't require an inspection from an ASE certified mechanic, but it's up to the participant to make sure a knowledgeable person inspects the car. We will perform a very basic inspection of your car when you register, but our inspection will not go into nearly as much detail as the safety inspection you need to have done before you arrive.

Even though my brakes are in good shape I need to look into some better break pads then.
thanks alot

Question:
How are non-drivers (spectators) and I guess for that matter drivers granted access into the event. Meaning someone or myself go online register, pay, and get a thank you email. There are no tickets issued at that time. Do we get some kind of electronic "ticket" emailed to us at some point?
