Default Is it worth it??????

Ok I have a 1990 Integra LS 5 speed, two door nothing special. I also found a 1992 Integra two door with an bad auto trans. Its got rims, exhaust, CAI, underdrive pulleys, suspension, carbon fiber hood and the interior is immaculent . It has a small bump on the front bumper and a crease in the hatch but other than that its 100% better than my 1990. He wants to get rid of it for $500. Would it be worth it to buy it and do an auto to manual swap??

Wait.. 90 tegs and 92 tegs are the same body style right?

I would part it out, keep what you want and sell the shell for $100. Install the parts you like on your car. Everything will be the same except the front bumper and rear taillights. I like the 92-93 better, but if the bumper is messed up than don't worry about it.

true. you have to do alot of work for auto/manual swap. plus you have to buy the trans mount from hasport. also fab something up to bolt your shifter to. I've done a swap like this on my del sol. not that fun. my car I was driving not too long ago was auto and I bought the same car in 5 speed. and just swapped all the parts from the auto to the new car. The thing is my 1990 teg is in alot worse shape and I can part the 1990 out after I put the tranny in the other one.
Sorry about the repost, I put it in GDD by mistake.
Thanks
