Re: Windshield
They have different part numbers, so I guess they're different. Both use the same top and bottom trim pieces, but different side trim pieces, so I guess one is probably taller than the other one.

Re: Windshield
Where are you located? I have one off a 2000 DC2 gsr for $100 but you'd have to pick it up. It's basically brand new because the car got rear ended right after I had it installed. PM me if you're local and interested.

Re: Windshield
When I went to replace the windshield on my 2000 GSR coupe, the shop asked me if I wanted the sedan or coupe windshield, as they only had the sedan in stock. When asked what the difference was, I was told "The sedan gets the blue tint at the top".
Supposedly, I have a sedan windshield on my coupe.
This was aftermarket glass, from a company recommended by my local Acura dealer.
Not having verified any of that info, I'd rather only post what I was told, and not try and claim it as fact.

Re: Windshield
My 2000 2 door GSR bought brand new from Acura of Modesto had tint on the top. When I replaced my windshield before it got wrecked they asked whether it was a 2 door or 4 door and asked if I wanted the top tinted or not.

I did notice at Carland Acura, if you look up a 94 Integra coupe's windshield, the part is not listed, as if there are none anymore. But if you look up a 2001 Integra coupe it does have the windshield listed.

Re: Windshield
I wonder if they simply switched over from blue to clear at some point in the model run.

Re: Windshield
I think maybe the tint was an option. My 97 GSR sedan had factory tint. My 2000 GSR coupe had factory tint. My 99 LS coupe doesn't have factory tint. All had factory glass when purchased.

Re: Windshield
That's pretty sweet you kept your original stickers from when you bought it that long ago. I wonder how they determined or chose which vehicles had factory tint on top. I tried googling it and couldn't find anything on it.

Re: Windshield
heh I didn't buy it, but the original owners still had it along with all the original purchase documents and a bunch of service documents when I bought the car in 2001.
