I'm not trolling? My question is legitimate. Will aftermarket speakers work with stock stereo? I just bought a 98 Integra LS. Its my first honda. I know nothing about them. Can anyone answer my question please?

I'm not that sure, part numbers are diff. and they do not look exactly the same...

Civic...
Integra...
It's hard to tell in the pictures, but there are slight differences, maybe not enough to make a differance.
However, seeing as you already have it, pull the one out of your Integra and see if the Civic one will fit.
How did you determine it was the motor, I have never seen one that was bad it is always the relay or the switch, if nothing happens, the track if there is noise but no movement. 94

You CAN post as a "noob" but i'll answer you question. You'r integra speakers(all 4) are 6.5 inches so as long as it's the same size you're all good.

"Standard" 6.5" speakers, not to be confused with the new "over-sized" 6.5" speakers, the differance is the mounting hole diameter, standards are 5", over-sized are more then 5" and differ depending on make and model. 94

Replacing the stock speakers with aftermarket speakers and still using the stock HU you will not notice a big difference, other then now you have new speakers, [no blown or damaged ones].
You would noticed a much bigger difference if you replaced the HU, [with properly working order OEM speakers].
The limiting factor with OEM systems, is the lack of power, [RMS wattage], in the stock radio, [HU], so adding an amp would help, however, the stock HU does not have pre-amp outputs, so for good sound quality, [SQ]and SPL, you need something like a JL Audio CleenSweep, and for the price you can get an aftermarket HU that will do the job.
If you spent some time and effort, "properly" installing the speakers, you can even get away without an off-board amp, unless you listen to your music stupid loud. 94
