I was thinking of getting it done at Acura dealership it costs $150. I dont wanna do it myself cuz i heard its better to get it done with the machine (the machine gets all the fluid out or something).

$150....wow. Find a trusted local mechanic.
When was the last time it was done?
Mine had never been done (to my knowledge) and at 98k it still looked pretty clean.
I would do the fluid swap myself, if it is really dirty you have only wasted about $20. If it looks clean then you saved yourself a boat load of money!

Where the hell is the tranny filter on our tegs? The trannys dont have a pan for access to a internal filter, nor do they have an external filter. Where the hell is the filter then?

then no worries about the torque converter, you don't have one.
just change it yourself, it's almost like changing your oil
hell, i'll do it for $100 ($150...outrageous)

definitely do it yourself man, just go to your local honda dealer and get the tranny fluid. It is so easy and I can't imagine paying 150 for the job to be done!

Re: (RIP Indian Larry)
First, slush-box Integras dont have accesible filters. They are a sealed modulative component. This makes changing your fluid on a regular basis that much more important. secondly, if the man wishes to pay Acura for a proceedure he's never performed he has all the right in the world. But if he wants to save some $ all he needs is a case of Dexron 3 ATF, a funnel with a long flexible tube attatched to the end (Autozone has these), a 3/8 drive ratchet and a drain pan. Just loosen the nut (It's round with a square hole for the ratchet) on the tranny (Passenger side right by the axle), drain fluid, refill, and drive. Repeat this proccess 2 more times becuase the fluid in the tourque converter needs to be evacuated as well since initially only about 30% of the tranny's fluid is drained at a time. Good luck

Here's the how-to
https://honda-tech.com/zerothread?id=382564
if you don't have the tools, just buy 3 qts of Honda MTF at your local dealership and take it to Jiffy Lube or PepBoys and ask them to use your fluid. Shouldn't cost more than $20-30 for labor, and the MTF is like $4 a bottle at most.
