i mounted mine above the radio, in a little slit under the climate controls... if i leave my car somewhere other than inside my gate at my house, i can just unplug it and take it with me, also, since its not permanently mounted, i can move it anywhere i want whenever, (on top of the A/C vent, under the ashtray, BEHIND the whole center thingy out of sight.... and my boy with a lude has his in the glove... but i have it at my position cuz i can see it easily, i can take it out whenever, and i can tune it while i'm driving...

Glove box for sure....I've always thought the units themselves look cool as hell, but until someone makes a molded plastic piece to fit in it into the center console, I'll always think they look a little ghetto rigged.
Plus it's less bling-factor to get your car broken in to.

Re: (Regal)
i just put it in the glovebox, i only use it to tune the car on the dyno, so why do i need to stare at it all the time and attracted unwanted attention to my car.

Ive seen them mounted where the ash tray and the cig lighter are (taking them out) and it looks clean and is not too flashy so the thieves wont see it.

if your not looking to be able to like see it while driving.. why dont you just mount it on the bottom below the ash tray and before the shifter . .u know that long flat tray. . and when your not driving. . .just throw a beenie on it or something. . thats what my bro does. . . can't even tell its there. . and if someone does break into your car without seeing it. . .chances are they'll search the glove box anyways.

Re: Where to mount VAFC? (HondaIntegraLS)
I like the idea of mounting it where the ashtray would go, but i would take it further and kind of sink it more into the dash so u can put up a piece of plastic to hide it when parking.
just thinkin of theives

Re: Where to mount VAFC? (AK94GSR)
I live in a pretty safe area and i mounted my old school RSM (same size as VAFC i think) where the clock was, it sits perfectly into the position, i'm buying a VAFC soon and was going to mount it in the same position, but the ashtray position looks neater!

I'd like to see that setup with the black VAFC and without the carbon fiber kit-thing. I'll bet all black would look badass.
Nice job mounting it, real clean
