theres actually specific locks u have to use? ive seen a couple use some of thoes small master locks w/ key.. but theres special locks u can get for thoes?
also heres a noob question.. hood pins are only really needed and used for CF hoods or FG hoods right? cuz i see no point to use them for stock hoods.. but i might be wrong

When I got my CF hood, I didn't want pins -- just the stealth look. But, once driving on the highway, I became a believer. The hood is so light, it makes you think it'll lift off at any moment at 80 mph. So, the safe route is hood pins.
If you're buying some, get the Sparco pins (like mine ) -- the best-looking, IMO.
