wheel spin in neutral???

wheel spin in neutral???
i had my gsr jacked up after changing the TB, well when i started it i had the gear shifter in neutral, but my driver side wheel started spinning. WTF?! is something wrong?

even though the transmission is in neutral, the input shaft on the tranny is spining. thus making all the gears inside turn, although they are free spining, (since you are not in gear). the friction of them spining will then in turn spin the axle.
sorta like a fan. since it's not being held (wheel on the ground), when you blow on it, it spins. but its not directly connected.
