what to look for when buying a car
well yeah my friend is buying a 90 integra..what should we look out for?
The owner said the timming belt snapped before but it has been fixed and after the belt broke the car has been running bad...but i test drove it and it was fine to me... The car has also been sitting for around 3 years. He said the fuel injection was messed up that is why he never drove it but there are no signs of it.

Re: what to look for when buying a car (91ls-v)
get the VIN# and get the title of the car. then check for oil leaks underneath then check for any knocking noise or squeeking and aski him too if it burn too much oil or ask him if he adds up oil once in a while or every other week or wut and how much he adds up...

If you dont know what or how to check for leaks or other problems with the car, just spend $25 and take it to Jiffy Lube and let them inspect it, if the car has a rear main seal leak, its a pain in the rear to fix, chances are youd take it to a mechanic and he would charge alot, unless you want to take apart the transaxel and flywheel/driveplate and replace the ring seal.....
