It's header. You only have one. If you want to "pay the pretty penny" forget cheap **** like DC and go to something like Hytech, AN-R, kteller etc. Look around the allmotor forum.

I heard Kamikaze header provide good gain, although they have fitment issues. and they are fair cheap prices too.

Hytech, SMSP, Toda, the list goes on. Or if you want similar power without spending a fortune, look into something like AN-R. I'll sell you a Maxim Works header for $800 if you want.

A JDM ITR 4-1 header is a really good header for the money, I got mine for $350. If you want something crazy nice, go for a 4-2-1 custom by Headertech, Hytech, or SMSP. Toda and Mugen have some nice off-the-shelf 4-2-1 designs, about the same price as the custom ones. But these are all in the $900+ range.

i installed a stainless steel dc sports 4-2-1 2 piece today. Was the best bolt-on ive done yet.I would recomend the same one too any ls owner, gives us the most usuable power for our car, also you can find them for around 150-220 used.I got mine for 185 shipped in perfect shape.Good luck

those are good for SC's...depending on what type of gains you are looking for and how much money you would like to spend there are many different headers you should look into. do you have anything else done to the engine?

what are your goals performance wise? are you gonna eventually gonna turbo? or headwork?

all this can effect what exhaust system you should get. If all you want is a show car your not going to benefit froma 2.5 inch system.

if your exhaust is too large, you will not get the exhaust velocity that you need. If you dont plan on any other motor mods, go with a mass produced header and save yourself the money.

All those headers produce great gains.

If you want good quality, go with toda. I just installed the toda header on my gsr and it's great. It fits very well and doesn't hang as low as some of the other designs. Anyways, just my two cents.

I def noticed the overall gains with the dc header on my teg. Installed it after a week of just a cat back and high flow cat, def a big improvement. mostly top end, and def make car louder. Staci, lovin the toda header. Great design, welds are perfect and flanges are huge
