I've used the Valvoline stuff in my clutch fluid a couple of times and I never liked the way that it made the pedal feel and the way it would rob the pedal of any feedback as to when and how the clutch was grabbing.
I stick to using the Honda DOT 3 or the Honda Pro DOT 4 (from the motorsports division shops) for the clutch fluid.
I do use the Valvoline in the brake lines tho.
