weird ticking noise coming from around the cluster/ dash
Sometimes, not always, but sometimes when im in full motion, fast enough to where i can hear it, comes some kinda ticking noise from the cluster/ dash area. It almost sounds like the odometer clicking away, but i have no idea. Its pretty annoying and only happens sometimes. Does anyone have this same problem? and if so what the hell is it?

is the speedo a cable drive on a '90?
if so, i'd bet that be the problem.....my old truck used to do that....i just replaced the cable and it fixed it right up

turn up the system and you wont hear it, lol.
where is it exactly coming from? the lower part or the upper part of the cluster?

well the sound is somewhere in the driver dash/ cluster area. i dont have any audio in there right now.

I'm having the same issue. '00 Civic Si.
When I clutch in, the noise slows down and goes away- clutch out, noise returns. Really sounds like it's coming from around the steering column/cluster.
Any solutions found?
