viper alarm question
I have a viper alarm and when i go to arm the car, both the car and the remote beep once. Yesterday i installed a cold air intake and if i remember correctly im pretty sure it was beeping from remote and car. Today i washed my car and cleaned the inside. When i went to go out i noticed it wasnt beeping anymore. The viper remote start works and the doors lock/unlock. Did accidently set something wrong? Should i get this checked out? suggestions please.

remove your negative battery cable, then put it back on...This should resst your alarm...if anything was missed with! If it continues to act up, take back to who ever installed it for you.

Do not do this Take the car out of valet mode the way I told you to. The method posted right now will do nonething for you and waste your time. Dei alarms have a built in memory and removing the battery is not going to do anything.

ok thnx for the help but i got it. It turns out i hit the valet button with my foot or leg or something when i was driving. To disable I had to turn the car on, then turn it off and within ten seconds hit the valet button which is unmarked near the hood thing.

You can do it that way too. Or you can do it from the remote like mention. But the door has to stay open. Alot of people put there cars into valet mode like this by accident
