Default valve cover question

i have no idea why but for some reason the top right corner bolt wouldn't come off by itself... it seems to be pulling a stud out aswell, why would this be? and how do i fix it?

thanks

You could have bad threading on the top nut when it was installed..so when you start to retract, instead of turning the way its suppose to, it turns the whole stud. Kinda like cross-threading.

lol but really still no luck with it i feel dumb cuz i mean its a valve cover nut i cant get off haha but it looks like there is another bolt under the VC nut that is free spinng but i cant get to it because the nut is ontop! it's like the nut is seized on to the stud or something... this is stupid

get some type of vise grip to hold the shaft and the break off the nut if you have to and replace wit a new one..very very cheap for em.

You could just cut it and replace the stud, its not hard or expensive.

pretty simple actually seems like no one knew this little bit of knowledge haha if you loosen that stud enough it becomes unseated where it connects to the head for the valve cover to tighten down on.
once its unseated it will NOT come through the hole in the valve cover but if you take all the other ones off take the valve cover off the whole stud is still on there but off the head sooo with the valve cover being off you can simply grab it from the underside and the top and loosen it with a firm grip.

i got it all off and my valve cover is painted properly now!

thanks for all the help!
