valve adjustment??
anyone have a valve adjustment done that caused more problems? i know my integ is in need of a valve adjustment bad... i just wanna make sure that if its not done right... it wont lead to more problems.

I suggest just taking it to a mechanic. Should cost around $60. Save you a lot of time and headaches if you aren't too mechanical incline.....

i got a few friends who "know" how to do it. just wanna make sure that if they dont do a good job, it wont make matter worse.

Does snapping a few of the adjustments bolts due to overtightening on my civic, during my first valve job count as a problem
BTW, so I don't look like an idiot(that did not sound good on second reading). I tightened the bolts, and had to go redo the exhaust side, because I used the wrong feeler guage. When I went to loosen them, most of them broke off.

ouch. exactly why i wouldnt risk it. heheh at least if a shop mechanic broke it... i wouldnt have to worry about it cuz they would cover the damage.
