You dont need headers either when buying turbo. They are replaced with turbo manifold.

Yeah,

FPR (fuel pressure regulator)
Port & Polish
SFC (fuel management system)
Get a 3" exhast if you are pushing 250+hp >> TanabeSuperRacingMedalion or the Apexi N1. I own a TanabrRM, and I think nexttime I'll buy the N1!

got the same motor and yes, the drag turbo kit can definitely help you get to that goal.....if your going turbo and trying to make those numbers , you should start off by buying pistons, rods, fuel controller, injectors, and a little bit of spice to the valvetrain , 300+hp on stock sleeves no problem ,just make sure your fuel tuning is right and you got it.......if not , babooommmmmmm........

If your going turbo most kits already have everything other than, upgraded igniton (MSD) or a Skunk2 IM.

miscellaneous items you should have a boost gauge, oil pressure and Air/Fuel Ratio gauge also a turbo timer. this is little stuff that anyone can afford and can be pre-wired and be very benefical when your turbo is installed.

stronger pistons and rods. And please, upgrade your brakes. Before you go fast, make sure you can slow down.

What about traction? You gotta have traction to put the power down man!!! Get a nice suspension setup too.

in other words...alot of sheeyat! adjustable shocks/springs, 440 injectors, forged pistons & rods, clutch, oil pressure, boost, egt gauges would be good, some type of engine management....pretty much the list goes on and on.

Well since you are waiting for the turbo, if I was you I would do either buy parts to support your turboed engine such as injectors, fpr etc, or just do your suspension for now and wait for the other stuff later. HTH

Really, the best place to ask this if the FI forum. Though do a search in there, it has been asked many times before.

You don't really needs pistons/rods. Those are fairly hardcore and you shouldn't invest that much before you even get the turbo. Many many people run turbos on stock internals without harming anything. It is all about tuning.

My suggestion:
(1) clutch, for sure. Many people use the ClutchNet stage 2. I myself have it, though I'm not turbo yet. Very nice.
(2) Some suspension... springs/shocks, just to help keep the power down. You will still ge wheel hop though.
(3) Something for fuel... a Hondata 2b would be nice, else like a S-AFC to help trim stuff. Should get bigger injectors.

Fuel system normally depends on how much boost you want to run and your future plans. You just plan on staying low boost, get bigger injectors, a lower ratio disk for the FMU, and a S-AFC for tuning. If you want to boost a little more in the future, you will need it to be reliable, so you want to invest in a Hondata system, or some other standalone fuel management (Haltech, AEM, LINK)

The Apexi N1 is not 3" its only 60mm or a bit bigger then 2.5"
