Tighten it back down, hold the threaded part with vice clamps and unscrew the nut till it hits the vice, then put the vice behind the nut and finish taking the nut off. After you have the intake manifold off you can work on getting the stud out and tapping the thread for a new stud, with a new nut.

Re: Trying to remove intake manifold, middle top bolt keeps turning
Thanks for the info.. Its not that far out though. Basically the nut wants to keep turning endlessly on the end of it. I have no room to grab the thread as its still there.
JB Weld it and try to take it out this way when it hardens? Or wd40 it and try again to remove the nut?
Any suggestions are welcome thanks!

Oh I thought you meant the stud spun in the head. JB weld or thread locker, and remove the whole stud like you mentioned.

Your gonna need to find away to apply force against the nut to pull it away from the manifold as you turn it. If its the last one left try pulling on the intake manifold slightly as you turn it. This will pull the nut into the threads that arent stripped and it should catch and come off. If that doesnt work your only other option is really to find a way to pull the whole stud out or cut the nut off.

Well since you don't have room to cut it, you could try to fit a drill in there and use a bit that is the size of the stud and drill that btich.

You might be able to place a flat-bladed screwdriver behind the nut and turn it to place pressure on the nut from behind - to walk it off the stripped threads on the stud. If you don't have that much slack, try something thinner like a steak knife blade or putty knife?

agreed! This is what I did when my header bolt was screwed. Stick a knife or a flathead in there and apply pressure.

Put a couple nuts back on the studs. Tighten them back down to move the intake manifold away from the middle nut as much as possible. Then put a flat head behind the nut and apply pressure while removing like previously stated.
