QUIT TYPING IN ALL CAPS, it makes it as though you are yelling. and yes, you can swap trans like that. but is there a reason why you would want to do that? it probably would not benefit you.

my car is auto and i wana convert to manual and i hav that tranny. but if i hav to i guess i gotta buy a hydro one..

Cable isn't as good as hydro but anything is better the pulling up to somebody and slipping it into D3.
