timing mark jumping around
check my timing today and it was way off so i reset it at 16btdc . . .i noticed at idle the mark on the crank pulley was jumping back and forth about a 1/4 inch toward the TDC mark
any ideas? is my cam timing a tooth off?
BTW, its on 01 GSR

Re: timing mark jumping around
Was the idle bouncing around with the timing mark? If the idle was steady and the jumper on the service check connector had a solid connection, I'd check the cap and rotor. Corrosion on the terminals can cause slight fluctuations in the ignition. Aside from that, all I can think of is a bad connection somewhere.

Re: timing mark jumping around
idle was a steady 700-750rpm.. and CEL started blinking when i plugged it in.. codes are 22 and 45 .. oil pressure sensor and malfunction fuel system( too rich, too lean)
