Tie Rod/alignment question

Tie Rod/alignment question
So my driver side inner tie rod needs replacing so I'm changing my inner/outer tie rod, so I was wondering if I get the right thread count or get it close enough (outer tie rod connecting to the inner tie rod) is it necessary to get a alignment right after.... Even if the steering wheel sits straight?.... Money is tight.. The string alignment is confusing to me so let me know please and thank you

And if I take it to a professional how much would he charge to change it.. And do they do the alignment since there changing the tie rod

Are both tie rods exactly the same dimensions? If not, then counting threads wont matter. I would seriously just pay the $50 and get it aligned properly. The steering wheel might be straight, drive straight and you could still have a toe problem.
If you had a shop do it, I'm guessing $250. You should call around and get some quick quotes.

Guess change the tie rod myself then just get it aligned for the winter... But what and where? Is the "toe" that needs to get aligned...
But in my old integra my friends step dad changed the tie rods and I didn't get it aligned and I drove it for a while and it didn't give me any problems

Toe is the adjustment of your tie rods. If you don't get it right, the car might not drive straight and the tires will wear unevenly. Toe is all you can adjust on a stock integra. Camber and Caster can only be adjusted with special aftermarket suspension parts.

just unbolt the inner and outer and take both off together!!! do not separate them, then measure from the face of the inner to the bolt on the outer, screw the 2 new ones together, and get them the same as your old ones and it'll be really close.
I'd still get it aligned tho

Not entirely true, although camber is "fixed" camber is adjusted with shims, Caster on the other hand is not adjustable without installing adjustable radios rods. 94

Grease gun do I need it... Cause I don't own one nor I know someone with it why do I need it I can't use regular grease and spread it with my hand?

So anyone know about the grease gun or just plain grease I need to know ASAP doing it in the morning.... Or is the inner tie rod already pre-greased and don't need anything?

If it has a zerk fitting your golden. Always try and replace your control and steering components with serviceable parts. I suggest using a grease gun with a waterproof grease. They do come with some grease but its not enough to keep the part going for years. Always talk with your local parts store and ask questions! If they don't give you the time....don't give them the money!

Just do the work and take it to a shop and pay at most $70 to get it aligned.
It may look straight but it wont be and you will probably pay for it later.
