Default Throttlebody Spacers?

What are these supposed to do? Supposedly you gain hp and tq from them but I don't see how? Has anyone seen or heard anything about these.

They allow the air the flow faster into the intake. Probably more torque gains than anything.

Could you please explain how they do that?

the thottlebody spacers have grooves on the inside of them that spins the air into the intake it just creates more velocity in the air

I would think it creates turbulance

I don't think it would increase turbulence if the angle of the grooves is correct, but I don't think that the increase in velocity is enough to drastically effect anything. Plus the intake manifold design doesn't really look like it would allow for any significant increase in air velocity anyway. This theory on a set of ITB's should have some benefit though.

Actually yeah, it would work better with individual throttle bodies. And I would think that it would work better w/o the grooves for smoother air flow and to create more velocity so the air shoots in faster.
