Default Think flywheel is over machined, need help please!

When I put the clutch in gear when the car isnt on I can push the car with it in gear, is my flywheel over machined? I've bleed the clutch lines quite a few times. I've double checked the fork and shift linkage and ever thing is fine.

slow down and type in proper sentences please.

"When you put the clutch in gear?" What are you talking about?!

I'm trying to get the scenario here...so, what I gather is that you can push the car when it's turned off, even if the car is in gear? Is that what you are trying to tell us?

IF that's the case, then, the clutch is not engaging. I'm also assuming that the car is not driveable becausee of this?

I hope you dont talk the way you type. If you do, you need to hit elementary school again and hit up some grammar courses.

what direction are you pushing your car and in what gear?

e.g. Car is in R and you are pushing forward...

Thanks for the grammer advise guys. thats really nice of you. and yes when the car is in first gear or any gear with the car turned off I can push the car forward or backwards. Its like the clutch isnt touching the flywheel at all

is there ANY sort of resistance that you can hear of in the tranny?

you might have a blown differential, or some busted axles maybe.

Theres an adjustment on your clutch pedal. Sounds like the little shaft needs to be turned in some. Ofcourse it could be alot of things, but thats probably the easiest to do. Whats the clutch pedal feel like. Aside from being able to push the car can you drive it? Does the clutch grap then?

I had a "similar" issue when I put my Exedy organic clutch in my teg last month. I had a stock flywheel with about 3 lbs. shaved off of it. When we got everything put back together, the car was engaged and would not come out of gear, even with the clutch pedal all the way to the floor. We thought that the flywheel had had too much materical taken off of it, but my mechanic friend had a machinist look at it who has been turning them for years and said it was fine. It turned out that a couple of the splines on the inside of the clutch disk had tiny burrs on them. The disk slid onto the shaft ok, but would not release. It was fixed in less that 30 minutes with a small rat-tail file cleaning up the splines on the disk. Is the disk sliding onto the shaft smoothly? It should not bind at all, if it does, something is wrong. Just my $.02 as a possibilty.

Well if you took your flywheel in to be machined by a clutch/transmission shop the mechanic there would tell you not to use it. They are supposed to know that information. Thats why they are in business. Don't try to save $3 by taking it to someone that doesn't know what they are doing. Like pep-boys or some other bunk shop.

if you were as amazing as me, you could drop that tranny and replace the clutch in 37 minutes.... i timed it, that's right.
