Tanabe Super/Hyper Medallion vs. Apexi N1
I'm going to be ordering an exhaust setup for my GSR real soon. I've been looking at the Tanabe Super Hyper & Racing Medallion cat-backs. Also i've been looking at the Apexi N1. Power output should be about the same right? And I've heard that the N1 & Racing Medallion sound similar, with the Hyper medallion being the quieter of the 3. I also saw that the Tanabe has louvered resonator? Which exhaust would I be best with in terms of performance now, and in the future when I'm either going to build up N/A or supercharge. Also, how does the N1 sound with the silencer in place?

I have a Hyper Medallion and the quality is very nice. It's not nearly as loud as the Racing Medallion or the N1, but can scream when you floor it. If you like LOUD exhausts, then the N1 should fill your needs. If you just want a nice toned exhaust, then the Hyper Medallion is a nice choice.
As far as the power gains go, they should give you about the same gains.

aight. yea I've seen your video of the GSR on the dyno. Can't hear the exhaust too great, but i don't want anything thats gonna be really loud when I'm just crusing along, but i do want something that is noticable and sound nice when you really start to get on it. This sound about right for the hyper medallion? I think you've answered this before, but do you have any vids of your car idleing and revvin up? If not, is it possible to snap a short clip?
